How make a mobile deposit

If you can take a picture, you can deposit your check! Follow these steps once you enroll in Mobile Deposits

  1. Log into the IRFCU Mobile App
  2. Select “Deposit” then “New Deposit”
  3. Select your account and input check amount
  4. Take a photo of the front of your check and the back of your endorsed check
  5. Confirm the information is correct and submit!

To avoid delays in processing or rejection of your check, please ensure that the quality of the image is clear and in focus. Please, endorse the original check and write “IRFCU REMOTE DEPOSIT” and the day of deposits date on the back of the check.


How long will it take for the funds to hit my account?

Typically, the funds will be deposited within that business day. When remotely depositing a check outside of normal business hours, on holidays, or over the weekend, the funds wont be deposited to your account until the next business day.

What information do I need to put on the check for mobile deposit?

Please, endorse the original check and write “IRFCU REMOTE DEPOSIT” and the day of deposits date on the back of the check.

What are the daily limits for mobile deposits?

$1500.00

What do I do with the check once I submit my mobile deposit?

Please hold on to the check until it is accepted and the funds are deposited into your account. Once the check has cleared, please destroy the check.

What if my check is rejected?

You will receive an email with a general explanation as to why your check was rejected. Depending on the reason, you may try again once the errors were corrected.
