Share/Savings

Open a share/savings account today with only a $5.00 minimum deposit. Your share/savings will earn dividends on a day-to-day basis, which are paid quarterly. You will receive quarterly statements. You can even direct deposit to your share/savings account out of your check weekly.

Start a share/savings account for your children under the age of five and we will deposit $5.00 into their account when it is opened. Start them on the road of learning to save for tomorrow.

Report Changes to your Credit Union

Let your Credit Union know if you are changing your name or address, so our records are correct and up to date. Since you are a person and not an account number at our Credit Union, we want to make sure that you continue to receive an accurate accounting of your finances.

Share Draft/Checking

Why pay for share draft/checking when you can get it free? There are no hidden fees with our share draft/checking account. The only thing you pay for are your checks. Some of the reasons why you should have your share draft/checking account with us are:

Overdraft Privilege

Overdraft Privilege works after overdraft protection to prevent share drafts (check) and ACH transactions from being returned for insufficient funds. Once all the funds available from your share (savings) account have been used, you may access your Overdraft Privilege amount.

Up to $500.00 maximum to cover the remainder of funds needed. This will put your checking account in a negative balance. There is a $25.00 per item fee charged to your checking account. This service is available to members who meet the criteria - Please contact the Credit Union for more details.

To open your share draft/checking account, stop by our office. Our Member Service Representatives will be glad to open this account for you.

Christmas/Club Accounts

We offer a Christmas Club account which begins around the 3rd week of October. With the Christmas Club account you can have your money stay in your Christmas Club account and use as needed for Christmas or have it put directly in your share or share draft account.

All-Purpose Accounts

We also offer an All-Purpose accounts. These accounts can be used as an extra savings, Vacation Fund, or an escrow account for your taxes.

Term Certificates

Share Certificates are a great way to earn a higher rate of dividends for your savings. Share Certificates range in terms of 26 weeks with a minimum deposit of $5000.00 or 12 months to 36 months with a minimum deposit of $1000.00. You have several options available for your dividends. You can have your dividends added to the certificate, mailed to you, or deposited to any account you have with us on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Individual Retirement Account (IRA)

IRA's are a wonderful way to save for your retirement. We offer Traditional or Roth IRA's, in either an Accumulative account or in a Term Certificate.

An Accumulative IRA can be started with as little as a $5.00 deposit, while an IRA Certificate requires a minimum deposit of $1,000.00. There is a $10.00 service fee annually on all IRA accounts.

Traditional and Roth IRA's both have tax advantages to them. To find out which one would be your better choice, you should consult with your tax adviser.
